Children’s Mental Health Week 3-9 February 2020

Set up by children’s mental health charity Place2Be, the week shines a spotlight on the importance of children and young people’s mental health. This year’s theme is Find your Brave.

We have a new display at the library door and amazing books to browse, borrow and read.

The school Mental Health Day will be on 12 February and activities in the library include;

  • Mindful Colouring

  • ‘How to relax’ thought bubbles

  • Brainboost Activities

  • Healthy Snacks

And….

Paws Against Stress Dogs are coming back! – The dogs from Paws Against Stress will be in the library during lunchtime on Wednesday 12 February.

If pupils and staff would like to meet the dogs and spend time with them, please sign up on the form at the library desk. There are two slots: 1.15 – 1.35pm and 1.35 – 2.00pm and there are 25 spaces in each slot.

Booking is essential! The sign up form is now available and until Tuesday 11 February.
