Last Session of Term – Scottish Teenage Book Prize 2018

Scottish Teenage Book Prize Group – last session of term

Our S3 pupils were busy finishing their graphic work on the shortlisted books on Wednesday 20 December. We have the arrival in the labyrinth & meeting the Executioner in Children of Icarus by Caighlan Smith and what wonderful work.

There were also graphic scenes from The Haunting of Jessop Rise by Danny Weston by our S3 pupils, including THAT discovery in the old chapel Gory and also great work! From Welcome to Nowhere by Elizabeth Laird, there is a fabulous representation of the scene in which Omar is running and gets shot in the arm.

The boys in the Scottish Teenage Book Prize group gave our Christmas music a thumbs-up. The girls gave it nil points. All worked hard on their graphic scenes from the books. +
