Scottish Teenage Book Prize – 12 December 2018

Scottish Teenage Book Prize pupils

12 December

What was going on in the library P1?

There was sharing of ideas for graphic art and favourite scenes from the shortlisted books. Pupils were busy creating graphic work, chatting about the books and researching Rights Respecting Schools.

Mrs Bodiam and Mrs Toonen told the class about the trip, in January, to Edinburgh, to see democracy in action. Great excitement and enthusiasm from everyone, which is great.

There was also discussion of the Scottish Teenage Book Prize characters & their lack of rights. Chats about how to capture scenes in graphic format and Christmas music too…

All of which meant a fabulous festive session with S3.
