The First Minister’s Reading Challenge Film Success #FMRCBookCrush February 2019

We are delighted to be a winning secondary school in the recent challenge by The First Minister’s Reading Challenge to share a love of reading in a creative and fun way for Valentine’s Day on 14 February. Our library entered a short film into this competition and it featured interviews with pupils and staff, with a focus on books they have fallen in love with.

Star Presenter

The judges particularly praised S3 pupil Josh Hanover whom they said was a great presenter, determined to find out everyone’s #FMRCBookCrush! This was a lively, fun and very creative approach to sharing how important reading for pleasure is. Congratulations to all pupils and staff who were involved in the making of the film. It can be viewed on youtube:  Our Film on YouTube
