CILIPS Conference Dundee 4 June 2019

The library was closed on Tuesday 4 June, as Mrs Toonen headed off to Dundee for the CILIP Scotland annual conference #CILIPS19.

Mrs Toonen delivered a presentation: The Kids Are Alright: Courage, Innovation and Laughter in the School Library.

It was brilliant to meet and to chat to lovely library professionals at the conference.

There were several questions afterwards and great comments and feedback and some have to be shared with #teamEA !

“1 in 6 young people will experience anxiety in some point in their lives” – one thing I will take away from the #CILIPS19 conference is how libraries can help tackle mental health issues
