Getting grounded!

The Getting Grounded! Project  is a cross-curricular S3 initiative, developed by Douglas Clark in the English department and Shelagh Toonen, Librarian. The project brings together the English, Art, Guidance departments and the Library. The project focuses on friendship and teenage anxieties. We have invited several partners to work with us in the delivery of the project: Heidi Tweedie, from the Moray Wellbeing Hub; Tracy Wallace, from SAMH and Adam Murphy, a graphic novel specialist.

Such is the pupils’ enthusiasm, that they are currently producing creative writing about issues concerning mental health and challenging stigma. The project will culminate this month with a display of pupil creativity.
